Empeenexus Constructions Private Limited is actually run out of Kaippillil House. We are located in Ochanthuruth, which is part of Elamkunnapuzha in the North Paravur area of Ernakulam. Being out here near the water changes how you think about building. You have to consider the salt in the air and the ground conditions. Our office is more of a home-base than a formal corporate suite. It’s where we sit down to talk about upcoming jobs or sort out the bills. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Ernakulam for a long time, so we know the local workers and where to get the best materials. Most of our work is around North Paravur and the neighboring islands. It is a quiet place to live, but the work itself can be quite loud and messy. We take on various construction tasks, from small repairs to bigger house projects. It’s just a few of us making sure things get done. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people find out about what we are doing in Kaippillil House. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy. Some days the rain stops everything, and we just wait it out at the house until we can get back to the site. That is just how it goes when you are building things in this part of Kerala.
