DEEPAM GRANITES PRIVATE LIMITED

We’ve been operating Deepam Granites out of Thoppil House in the Thooyithara area of Paravur for a good while now. It’s a busy spot here in Ernakulam and there is always something going on with the trucks and the stone. Dealing with granite is hard, physical work and most of our days are spent out in the yard moving slabs around or talking to people who drop by. The weather here in Kerala can be a bit much sometimes, especially when the heavy rains start and everything gets muddy, but we just work through it. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a room where we keep the paperwork and take a break from the sun. People in the neighborhood know us well since we have been at this address for years. It’s a local operation, so you won’t find any big corporate suits here, just a handful of us getting the job done. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the stone that comes in because nobody wants a slab that isn't right. It’s a noisy business with all the machinery and the loading, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the traffic near Paravur makes things a bit slow, but the trucks eventually get where they are going. We just try to keep things simple and honest here at the house. If you come by, you’ll probably see us covered in a bit of dust.
