Ajmal Holowblock

Our place, Ajmal Holowblock, is located at Room No. 460 in Vengola Po. We are pretty close to the Kitex Garment factory, so if you can find that, you can find us easily. Making hollow blocks is heavy and dusty work, so don't expect our place to be spotless when you visit. There’s usually sand and cement dust on almost everything, including our boots and the desks. We spend most of our time outside in the yard or in the shed where the mixing happens. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard in the afternoon. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs or air conditioning. We have a small room where we keep the books and take a break when we get a chance. We’ve been in Vengola for a good while now and we know the area and the people well. People come to us because they know we are here and we do the job right. We don't put out big ads or try to sound like a huge corporation. We are just a bunch of guys making blocks for local building projects. Sometimes the machine acts up and we have to spend half the morning fixing it, but that’s just part of the daily grind. We take pride in what we make, even if we don't talk about it in a fancy way.
