We've been at 6/1014 on Bazar Road in Mattanchery for a long time now. It’s an old building but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with traditional stuff that local artisans make by hand. People come by to see the carvings and fabrics we keep in stock. It gets busy on this street, especially during the day, so it's always a bit loud outside. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some rooms filled with things people have worked hard on. My family has been involved in this for years, and it's basically what we know. Mattanchery has changed a lot, but this spot stays mostly the same. We open up early and stay until the evening. Sometimes the inventory is a bit messy because we get new things in every week and don't always have a place to put them right away. If you walk down Bazar Road, you'll find us pretty easily. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the locals have a place to bring their work. It's a simple operation, really. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just like the items we sell and hope others do too. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, but we manage to stay organized enough to find what people need. Most of our days are spent just chatting with visitors and rearranging the displays. We don't do much fancy advertising, just word of mouth mostly.
