We are located in South Mazhuivannoor at the Eralil house. It is a quiet area, away from the main town noise. The office is basically part of the house that we use for the educational work we do. There are some desks and a couple of computers set up. Most days we are busy sorting out materials for students or answering questions about school stuff. It is not a shiny new building, just a regular place where we work. The post office is nearby which is handy for sending things out. We started this because there was not much around here for extra help. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we manage. We have a lot of books piled up on the shelves. It is a small team, mostly just us and a few helpers. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the papers. People from the village know us, so they just walk in sometimes. It is not a formal place with uniforms or anything like that. We wear whatever is comfortable for the weather. The driveway has a bit of gravel that gets stuck in your shoes. We spend the mornings planning and the afternoons doing the actual work with the kids. It is a practical setup. We do not have a big budget for fancy furniture. We just use what we have to get the job done for the students in this part of Ernakulam.
