Ujsers-On

Setting up at Shop No- 97 in Kailash Nagar was a bit of a project. We are right behind the SBI Bank, so the mornings are always full of people walking back and forth waiting for the doors to open. At Ujsers-On, the day starts with clicking on the lights and seeing what needs to be done. Chhota Govindpur has its own pace, a bit slower than the main parts of Jamshedpur, which suits me just fine. The shop isn't massive, but it's enough for what we do. I spend a lot of time at the back counter, mostly just organizing things and making sure the shelves don't look too messy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they've been this color for a while now and I’ve grown fond of it. There is a small fan that rattles in the corner, keeping the air moving when it gets sticky inside. Sometimes I look out the door and just watch the bank customers complaining about the heat. It’s a good spot, even if the lane is a bit narrow for bigger cars. I usually keep a notebook handy to jot down things I need to remember for the next day. It’s not about being perfect, just about getting the work done and making sure everything is in its place before I head home. The evening air usually brings a bit of a breeze from the open fields further down the road.
