If you head over to Telco Colony in Jamshedpur and find Cross Road 13, you’ll see our office at Quarter Number K2 10. It’s a very residential-looking spot because it’s part of the colony housing. We like it here because it feels more like a community than a business district. The office is pretty basic, just a few rooms where we keep our records and meet with the guys from the sites. We spend a lot of our time out in the field, so the office is mostly a place to recharge and handle the paperwork. The floors are often a bit dusty from the work boots, and the furniture is just stuff we’ve picked up over the years. We don't have a fancy mission statement or any corporate slogans on the walls. We just have some calendars and a few photos of our finished projects. The pin code is 831004, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know what we do. We aren't trying to be some big national corporation. We are just a local team that understands the ground reality of building in Jamshedpur. Sometimes the monsoons slow us down, and sometimes the heat is almost too much, but we keep at it. It’s not a glamorous job, but we take a certain amount of pride in seeing a project through from the first shovel of dirt to the final brick.
