Our spot is over in Adityapur, specifically at L.I.G. Flat No. L/8/8 on Road No. 5. Jamshedpur is a steel town through and through, so being here feels right, even if our name mentions Brazil. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, and the dust from the industrial area usually settles on the windows by noon. The office is inside a regular residential flat, so it doesn't feel like those big skyscrapers you see in Mumbai or Delhi. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets related to the steel supply. Adityapur has its own rhythm, with trucks moving in and out at all hours. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until the generator kicks in or the lights come back. We don’t have a big cafeteria, so most of us bring lunch from home or grab something quick from the local stalls nearby. The monsoon season makes the roads around here a bit of a mess, but that’s just life in Jharkhand. We’ve been operating from this flat for a while, keeping track of orders and making sure the steel gets where it needs to go. It’s a quiet kind of busy. There’s no fancy lobby or receptionist, just us working through the daily tasks. It is what it is.
