Vikas Designer

Vikas Designer is found at D 354 on the ground floor. We are in Gali No 8 in Laxmi Nagar. If you know Laxmi Nagar, you know how the lanes are. It is a very busy area with a lot of people walking by all the time. Our shop is on the ground floor, so it is easy to step inside. The main thing you notice is the sound of sewing machines. We have a few of them going at once, and it creates a steady rhythm. There are rolls of fabric in various colors stacked against the walls. We don't have a big display window or anything fancy like the shops in the malls. It is a practical workshop where we spend our time measuring, cutting, and stitching. The lighting is strong so we can see the details of the work. Sometimes the shop gets very crowded when customers come for fittings. We have a small mirror in the corner and a table where we do all the cutting. It gets dusty with thread and bits of cloth, so we have to sweep a few times a day. Laxmi Nagar is a loud place, but we are used to the noise of the street. We just focus on the fabric in front of us. It is a small business, and we do everything ourselves. Most days are long, but we like the work.
