Vbnr Fashion is tucked away on the third floor in Gali No 2 of Old Seelampur. We are part of the Gandhi Nagar area which is basically the heart of the garment world in East Delhi. The address is X 5351 and it’s a bit of a climb to get up to the third floor but we are used to it by now. It’s a very busy neighborhood and the lanes are narrow. You have to watch out for the carts and the bikes when you’re walking here. Our space is filled with fabric and machines and the noise of the street comes right through the windows. We aren't a big corporate firm. We are just a small team working in a crowded part of town. Every day we see the same people and the same tea sellers. It feels like a real community even if it’s a bit chaotic. We handle a lot of fashion stuff and there’s always something being cut or stitched. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and we’re there working. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the Gali a bit difficult to navigate but we still show up. It’s a tough place to work sometimes but it’s our home. We’ve been here at W/O Shakar Bhagat’s place for a while and we know the rhythms of the market.
