You’ll find Vasantas Software Private Limited over in Krishna Nagar, right near the Md Shankar Hospital. It’s a big landmark that everyone knows, so we just tell people to look for the hospital entrance. Our office is at 1-4-171. It’s not a huge place, but it’s ours and we like it. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. The street can get pretty crowded with people visiting the hospital, so parking is always a bit of a nightmare for us and our visitors. We usually just walk or take the bus to avoid the stress. Inside, it’s mostly just computers, some whiteboards, and a lot of tangled wires. We aren't very organized when it comes to the physical space, but we know exactly where every file is. Software is what we do, so we spend most of our hours staring at monitors and typing away. It’s quiet work, for the most part, except for the sirens outside. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans painted on the walls. We just take the requirements from people and try to build what’s asked for. Some days are harder than others, especially when a piece of code just won't behave the way we want it to. We’ve had plenty of late evenings where we’re still here long after the hospital lights have dimmed for the night. It’s just the nature of the software business.
