We’re located in Lakshmi Nagar, specifically at 184 Guru Ramdass Nagar in East Delhi. It’s a crowded area, but that’s just Delhi for you. We’ve been running Shiv Hari Garments from this spot for a bit. It’s a straightforward garment business. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make clothes that people can actually use. The workspace is usually a bit cluttered with thread and fabric scraps. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine. We have a few workers who’ve been with us since we started. We sit together, do the work, and try to get the orders out on time. Sometimes the courier is late or the fabric we wanted isn't available, so we have to adjust. That's just how it goes when you’re running a small business. We don't do much marketing because we’re usually too busy with the actual production. It’s practical work. We know the local suppliers and they know us. We just keep things moving and try to do a decent job every day. It’s nothing more and nothing less than a local garment shop. We just try to make sure everything is stitched properly before it leaves our doors. We like the routine of it all, even when it gets stressful during the busy seasons.
