Shekhar

My name is Shekhar and I’m located over in Shakar Pur at WB 207/F. This is in Ganesh Nagar-II in Delhi, 110092. If you know East Delhi, you know it is one of the most crowded and energetic places you can find. My spot is on the second floor of the building, which is why there’s an 'F' in the address. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, so you have to be careful when you’re coming up. It’s a very busy neighborhood with shops on the ground floor and people living above them. There is always the sound of motorcycles and people talking in the street. I’ve been here for a while and I’ve seen the area change quite a bit as more people move in. It’s not a polished corporate setup at all. It’s just a room where I keep my papers and my computer. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside if I leave the balcony door open, but that’s just Delhi for you. I like being in Shakar Pur because everything you need is just a two-minute walk away, from tea to hardware supplies. It’s a very practical place to work from even if it gets a bit noisy during the rush hour. People around here are hardworking and we just try to get through our tasks every day without making a big deal out of it.
