Finding us at Sem Infotech might take a minute if you are not used to the layout of Mandaoli. We are located at 229/632d in Buapur, specifically down Gali No-3. It is one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone else. Our workspace is small and honestly a bit cluttered with old hard drives and stacks of paper that we really should organize one of these days. We have been operating out of this spot for a while, and the locals usually just point people toward the third house in the alley. The lighting inside is not the best, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing on the keyboards. We handle all sorts of info-tech tasks, mostly just trying to keep up with the work that comes in through the door. It gets hot in the summer, and the fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit, but we get used to it. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere nearby. We do not have any corporate brochures or fancy slogans. We just show up, open the shutters, and start working on whatever is on the desk. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, chatting about whatever is happening in the news or the neighborhood. It is a simple life here in the Gali. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing without making much of a fuss.
