Sakson Fashions Private Limited is tucked away in School Block, Shakarpur. If you’ve ever walked through these East Delhi lanes, you know they are narrow and always full of people. Our spot is at S-222. It’s not a grand office by any means. Mostly it’s just us sitting among piles of clothes and plastic bags. The noise from the nearby school and the bikes outside never really stops. We spend a lot of time just checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes it gets quite dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment arrives. Boxes get stacked up high until we can hardly see the back wall. We drink a lot of tea to keep going, especially during the long afternoons when it's quiet. The metro line isn't too far, so you can always hear that faint rumble every few minutes. We don’t have fancy decorations or a big sign. It’s just a workspace where we handle our business day after day. Sometimes the internet is slow or the delivery guy gets lost in the gullies, but we manage to sort it out. It’s just how things work here in Shakarpur. We’ve grown used to the chaos and the way the sun hits the front door in the evening while we finish our work.
