Safari Kits

Safari Kits is located at D 6/22 in Krishna Nagar. We are right near the Post Office on Mandir Marg, which is a pretty well-known spot in this neighborhood. The shop is a straightforward place where we keep various types of travel gear and kits. It’s not a large space, so we have to be clever about how we stack the bags and suitcases. Often, we have to move three things just to get to the one at the bottom. The floor is made of simple grey tiles and the walls are painted a plain off-white that has started to peel a bit near the ceiling. We don't have any big marketing displays, just the products themselves sitting out for people to look at. Mandir Marg is usually busy with people going to the post office or the nearby shops, so we get a decent amount of foot traffic. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit and listen to the radio when it's quiet. Usually, it's just one or two of us working here. We handle everything from cleaning the glass to talking to the delivery drivers. It is a very normal, local business. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front step, and stay until the street lights come on in the evening.
