If you are looking for me, I am usually over at the shop near Chilla Chowk. It's called Lovely Medicose, right here in Mayur Vihar Phase-1. It is a busy little corner of Delhi. I spend most of my day there, talking to people who come in from the neighborhood. It is not a very big place, but it stays crowded because people always need something or the other. There are a lot of regulars who live nearby and they just walk in. Sometimes we run out of space behind the counter, but we manage. The traffic outside is always noisy, but you get used to it after a few months. I have been in this area for a long while now. It feels like everyone knows everyone. I don't bother with fancy decorations or anything like that. The shelves are full of what people ask for, and that is about it. It is honest work, keeping the shop running from morning till late evening. Some days are longer than others, especially when the weather is bad, but we keep the doors open. It's just how things are done here in Mayur Vihar. No need to make it sound more complicated than that. You just show up and do the work.
