Ratnesh Deo

Living and working out of Patparganj 43 has its ups and downs. It’s a solid area of Delhi, and things stay pretty active throughout the day. I’ve been Ratnesh Deo for as long as I can remember, and this is where I’ve set up my base. It’s not really a corporate office, just a place where I keep my books and handle my business. Most days start with a walk to the local market before I settle in to see who needs help. The walls are a bit thin, so I can hear the kids playing outside in the afternoon, but it keeps things feeling lively. I don’t use any of those high-tech scheduling systems. I just write things down in a diary and hope I don't lose my pen. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. People in the neighborhood know where to find me if they have a question. Sometimes I spend the whole morning just catching up on emails, and other times I’m out and about. It gets dusty in the summer, so I spend a lot of time wiping down the shelves. There isn't a big team here, just me and occasionally a helper if things get backed up. I like the independence of it. You won't find any mission statements on the wall, just a calendar and maybe a map of the city. It’s practical and it works for me. I don't see any reason to change it.
