Proximus Garments Private Limited

We are over in Shakarpur at S-222 in the School Block. The local Gurudwara is just a short walk away from our front door. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here which helps when giving directions. Proximus Garments Private Limited is just a small group of us working in this unit. We have been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change and grow quite a bit over the years. The streets are always crowded with students and people heading to the market nearby. Our workspace is filled with sewing machines and different kinds of thread and zippers. It gets a bit noisy when everything is running at the same time but we have grown to like the sound. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits and ties. We wear whatever is comfortable for the Delhi weather. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are packed correctly and the garments look okay before they leave. We don't have any big promises or fancy words to share. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes we have to stay late into the evening to finish a batch for a deadline but that’s just how it goes in the garment industry. We appreciate the people who stop by the office to talk to us. It’s a friendly place and we try to keep it that way. No big frills here just honest work in a busy corner of East Delhi.
