If you are looking for Prime Tools & Equipment, you have to head over to 65-A in Patparganj. We are located on the second floor, right on Street No 7. It’s a bit of a climb with heavy boxes, especially when the weather is humid, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The space is pretty packed with shelves full of different tools and gear. It isn't the most organized-looking place if you're used to big retail stores, but we know exactly where every single wrench and drill bit is hidden away. Most of the guys working here have been around for a long time, so we just sort of handle things as they come. Street No 7 is always busy with people moving back and forth, so there is usually a lot of noise coming up from the window. We spend a lot of our time checking inventory and making sure the equipment is packed properly for whoever needs it. It’s a practical kind of business. We don't spend money on decorations or anything like that because that's not what the customers are here for. They just want their tools. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when we turn on the heavy testing gear, but it’s just part of the charm of this old building. We take our breaks near the window to watch the traffic below while having a quick snack.
