About Vintage Auto World – Machine Tools in East Delhi
Our place is over at Shyam Enclave, right on the Vikas Marg Extension. It's not a huge setup, just a decent-sized garage and a bit of a messy office space at No. 06. We call ourselves Vintage Auto World because we’ve always had a thing for the older cars that most people have forgotten or left to rust. It started as a hobby in a small backyard years ago and somehow it turned into a full-time business for us. The shop floor usually has a couple of long-term projects in various stages of being taken apart. There’s a permanent smell of petrol, old leather, and floor cleaner that never really goes away no matter how much we vent the place. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking online trying to track down parts that haven't been manufactured in thirty years. It can be really frustrating when a lead goes cold, but it’s a great feeling when a part finally arrives and fits perfectly. We don't have a shiny website or any marketing people. Most folks hear about us from other car enthusiasts at local meetups. The neighborhood is mostly residential and quiet, which is nice when we’re trying to concentrate on a tricky electrical problem. We’ve had some customers coming to us for over a decade now. We don't promise any miracles, we just try to fix things the right way so they don't break again for a while.
