Our office is located inside the Hindustan Times Apartments in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. It’s a residential area, so it stays relatively calm compared to the rest of Delhi. Prem Chaudhery & Associates Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this flat for quite some time. We use the 10/A-1 unit as our workspace. It’s got a bit of a homey feel because, well, it is an apartment. There’s a kitchen where we make coffee and a balcony that looks out over the parking area. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us sitting around tables getting the work done. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and say hello. The commute is pretty easy for most of the staff since the metro is nearby. We keep a regular schedule, starting early and finishing when the tasks are cleared. The shelves are packed with files and old documents that we probably should sort through one day. We don't spend much on decorating or making the place look sleek. It’s more about having a functional spot to sit and focus. When it rains, you can hear it hitting the windows quite loudly. It's a decent place to spend the day. We mostly communicate through quick chats across the room rather than formal meetings. It is a simple setup and it works for us. We’ve stayed in this location because it’s convenient and everyone knows where we are.
