Tax India Consultancy is based in Sarojini Park, which is part of the Shastri Nagar area. It is a residential neighborhood mostly, so it feels a bit more quiet than the big business districts downtown. Our office is basically just a room filled with papers, files, and calculators. During the tax season, the place gets pretty crowded with folders everywhere you look. We try to keep a system for everything, but sometimes the stacks of paper get a bit high on the desks when things get busy. It is a local spot where people from the neighborhood often drop by to ask a quick question. We have been in Shastri Nagar for a long time and know the streets well. The street outside has some trees and people walking by throughout the day. It is a comfortable and simple place to work. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know our way around the different forms and tax regulations. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. The chairs are a bit old but they are comfortable enough for a long day of work. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep us company. It is not a fancy consulting firm with glass partitions. It is just us in a regular building in Sarojini Park.
