Our office is on the second floor at S No. 561 in Shakarpur. You have to walk up the stairs, which can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. Shakarpur is a loud, energetic place with people everywhere, but once you get up to the second floor, it’s a little bit calmer. We have desks piled high with folders and documents because finance involves a lot of paper. Most of our day is spent looking at numbers and talking to people about their projects and how to get the money sorted for them. It’s a lot of explaining and checking details over and over. The office isn't very large, and we’ve got some old wooden cabinets that have seen better days. We usually have the window open to get some air, so the sounds of the market below always drift in. It’s just a small group of us working here, trying to keep track of all the different files and applications. People come in looking for help with loans or business plans, and we sit down with them and go through everything step by step. It’s not a fast process, but we take it as it comes. We’ve been at this Shakarpur address for a while now, and we’ve seen a lot of different people walk through that door. It is a steady job and we like the people we meet.
