Piron Designs

Our place is at Plot Number 1152 in Bijwasan. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the center of town, but we like the space we have out here. Being on a plot instead of in a cramped office building gives us room to move around. Piron Designs is basically just a few rooms where we keep our computers and drafting tables. The area around Bijwasan is still developing, so there’s often some construction noise or dust blowing in. We’ve spent a lot of time fixing up the office ourselves, painting the walls and putting in the shelves. It’s not perfect—some of the shelves are a bit crooked—but it does the job. We don't have a big team of experts. It’s just a handful of us who have been working together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how we like our coffee. Most of our day is spent staring at screens or talking about dimensions. We don't have a lot of meetings; we just shout across the room if we need to ask something. It’s a practical way to work. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or decor because we’d rather spend it on better equipment. It’s a quiet life out here for the most part. We show up, do what needs doing, and go home to our families in the evening.
