We are based over at 312 Laxmi Nagar. It is a fairly busy street and there is always some kind of noise coming from the neighbors or the traffic. Our place smells like sugar and fresh flour most of the time because of all the baking we do. We have the ovens running at all sorts of hours to make sure the cakes are ready for the morning. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in here with all the boxes and the various decorating supplies we use. We are not a big factory; it is more of a local setup that just happened to grow a bit over the last few years. Most of our day is spent checking the orders that come in online and making sure the delivery drivers know exactly where they are going. We have a small kitchen area and a front room where we keep the gift items like cards and small trinkets. It can get pretty chaotic around the holidays or when there is a big festival happening. We usually have flour on our clothes by the end of a long shift. The floor is a bit uneven in some places, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We just want to get the cakes out the door while they are still fresh. People in Laxmi Nagar know us well, and we see the same faces passing by every day.
