Meand My Gifts

You can find us at A-1 in Acharya Nikatan, right in the middle of Mayur Vihar Phase-1. It’s a busy spot and we have been here for several years now. We sell all kinds of gifts, mostly the sort of things you’d buy for a housewarming or a quick birthday visit. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of wall space to hang things up. It can get a little overwhelming if you aren't used to seeing so many things in one place. We don't have a fancy computer system for inventory, we just know where everything is because we put it there ourselves. Most of our customers are people who live in the nearby flats and stop by while they are out for their evening walk. We like being part of the local community here in Mayur Vihar. It’s a lot of work keeping up with what people want, and sometimes we get things wrong, but we try to keep the shelves full. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. It’s just us opening the shutters in the morning and seeing who walks in. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and drink tea, and other times it’s a total scramble to wrap three gifts at once. It’s a real place run by real people who just want to make a living.
