Om Jai Creation

It’s a bit of a climb up to the second floor here in Raghuvarpura. We are right by Nutan Vidya Mandir School, so during the morning and when classes let out, Gali No. 9A gets pretty crowded with kids and parents. You can hear the school bells and the general noise of Gandhi Nagar from the windows. It is just a regular workspace where we spend most of our hours. The walls are plain and there is usually a lot of fabric lying around waiting to be sorted. Gandhi Nagar is a busy place, and being in No. 2 makes it feel even more packed some days. We’ve been at this address for a while now, tucked away in this specific lane. Most people who come here know the landmark of the school, otherwise it’s easy to miss the turn. The light in the afternoon hits the second floor quite directly, making it warm. We keep the fans running all day. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a place where the work gets done between stacks of boxes. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, which is normal for this part of the city. We just wait it out or work by the windows. It’s a simple setup at Om Jai Creation. We don't have big signs or flashing lights, just our door on the second floor. It’s where we are every day from early morning until the sun goes down.
