Om Confectioners & General Stors

You will find Om Confectioners & General Stors at C-64 in Pandav Nagar. We have been here for a long time now. It is one of those shops where you can find almost anything you need for the house. We have snacks, sweets, soap, and all the daily groceries for cooking. The shelves are packed right up to the ceiling with boxes and bags. Sometimes it is hard to find things but we know exactly where everything is hidden. Pandav Nagar is a nice residential area and most of our customers are our neighbors. We know their names and what they usually buy every week. In the mornings, people come for fresh bread and milk. In the evenings, the kids come for candies or small packets of chips. We have a small glass case for the fresh sweets we keep for tea time. The shop name has a little spelling mistake on the old painted board but we never bothered to change it. It adds a bit of character to the street I think. We stay open late into the night so if someone forgets sugar for their tea, they can just run over. My son helps me in the afternoons after he finishes his studies at the school. It is a family thing really and we enjoy it. We don't try to be like those big supermarkets with the bright lights. We just offer a friendly face and the things you need for your home. The floor is a bit worn out but the shop feels like home.
