Lokesh Aujar Bhandar

You can find us at F 148/A on the Jagatpuri Main Road. We are right near the Ambedkar Gate, which is a good landmark for people coming from the other side of town. Lokesh Aujar Bhandar is a local shop. We deal with various hand tools and equipment. The shop is small and packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move, but we know where everything is kept. The shelves are wooden and look a bit old. The main road outside is always loud with horns and people shouting. It is a very busy market area. We open early because that is when the workers and builders usually come by to pick up stuff for their day's work. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of things are still written down in a ledger. The counter is worn down from years of sliding boxes across it. We have a couple of stools if someone needs to sit while we find a specific tool in the back. It’s a simple setup. No air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum all day. We like being in Jagatpuri. It has a lot of energy. People stop by just to chat sometimes even if they aren't buying anything. That's just how the neighborhood works. We’ve been here a long time. We mostly recognize the regulars who live around here or work on the local sites.
