Nishas Beauty Salon

Nishas Beauty Salon is located in F 8/7, Krishna Nagar. We are really close to Lovely Public School, so we get a lot of moms coming in after they drop their kids off. It’s a neighborhood shop, through and through. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. I remember when we first moved in, the walls needed a lot of paint, and we spent days getting everything just right. Now, it feels like home. We see a lot of the same ladies every week for threading or a quick face wash. It’s a place where people talk about their day and what’s happening in the colony. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or their neighbor told them about us. It gets a bit crowded on festival days, and sometimes it's hard to find a seat, but we manage. We try to keep the towels fresh and the scissors sharp. That’s the main thing, really. It’s just a simple beauty parlor for the local crowd. We’ve been part of the Krishna Nagar community for a while now and we like it here. There’s no pressure to be anything we aren’t. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and head home in the evening. It’s a straightforward life at the salon.
