You can find us at S-2 in Gali No-1, over in the Sunder Block of Shakarpur, Delhi. I’m Mukesh Kumar and this is where I spend most of my time. Shakarpur is a busy place, and Gali No-1 is no exception. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes with all the people and scooters, but that’s just Delhi life. The office is on the second floor, so we get a bit of a break from the noise on the street. It’s just a plain room with some desks and a lot of cables. We aren't big on decorations. We have a calendar on the wall from three years ago that we never took down because it’s handy for notes. We mostly deal with local clients and people who just walk in from the street. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We usually wear whatever is comfortable and focus on the tasks we have for the day. Lunch is usually something brought from home or picked up from a nearby stall. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle. It’s a simple way of working, but it gets the job done. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the quirks of the building, like which light switch is finicky. We just keep showing up and doing what needs to be done without making a big deal out of it. The mailman usually drops by around eleven.
