Mehra Medicare

Mehra Medicare is over in Krishna Nagar at F-15/10. We are in the Old Police Building on Hans Raj Marg. It’s a very easy place to find because we are right opposite Metro Pillar Number 76, just across the road. If you’re near the BSES office, you’re basically there. The building is quite old, so it has that specific smell of old bricks and paper. We try to keep things modern inside with the equipment, but the structure itself shows its age. The traffic on Hans Raj Marg is pretty loud all day long, so we usually keep the front door shut to keep the dust out. We get a lot of people coming in who are just passing by the metro station. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and everyone is always in a hurry. I try to make sure we don't keep people waiting too long, but some days the records get a bit mixed up and we have to hunt for a file. The staff is local, so we all speak the same way as the people coming in. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain English and Hindi. We have a small water cooler in the corner that everyone uses, and the magazines on the table are usually a few months out of date. It’s just a normal medical spot for normal people living their lives in Krishna Nagar, and we like it that way.
