Meenakshi In Styles

Meenakshi In Styles is over at 256 in the Main Market area of Patparganj Industrial Area. It gets pretty loud around here during the day with all the trucks and people moving things back and forth, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Most days start around ten when we pull the shutters up and try to get some of the dust off the front glass. This place has been our spot for a while now. It’s not a huge fancy showroom or anything like that, just a regular shop where we keep things organized as best as we can. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoons, so we just sit outside or chat with the neighbors from the shops next door until the power comes back. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part, but we have a couple of fans that do the job. People usually drop by while they are out doing their other errands in the market. We spend a lot of time just checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It is a lot of work keeping up with the inventory, especially when the new deliveries arrive and we have to find space for everything. We don't really do much advertising, people just seem to find us because we are right here on the main strip. It’s a simple life running a business in Patparganj. We just take it one day at a time and see how things go.
