You can find Meena Fashion Exporters over in Patparganj at No.C-27, on the first floor. We are in Street No.10, right in the Madhu Vihar area near the IP Extension. It’s a busy spot with lots of small businesses all piled on top of each other. Our floor is usually a mess of thread and fabric scraps because that is just the nature of what we do. We have several sewing machines going at once, so it can get pretty noisy during the peak hours. We handle the export side of things, which means a lot of checking labels and packing cartons. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, especially when you are carrying heavy rolls of cloth. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the work area. We’ve got a few big tables where we spread everything out to check for mistakes. The fans are always on high because it gets hot with all the machines running. We eat our lunch together most days, usually just bringing stuff from home. It is a practical way to run things. We’ve been in this street for a while and know the tea guy on the corner pretty well. It’s just hard work and keeping the production moving even when the power fluctuates.
