People usually find us here in Khurji Khas at number 107 without too much trouble. It is a busy spot. We have been working with metal for quite some time now. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. The shop floor is always covered in small bits of metal and dust. It’s just how things are when you’re cutting and shaping stuff all day. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. There is a small desk in the corner where we keep the papers, but mostly we are on our feet. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a motor or oiling the gears. It gets noisy, especially when the neighbors are also busy. We get our supplies from the local market and try to get things done on time. It is a simple setup. If you walk past, you’ll probably see a couple of us sitting outside during the lunch break having tea. We don’t do much advertising because people around here already know where we are. It’s a lot of hard work and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. We just focus on the orders we have. That’s pretty much the daily routine at M H Metal. Nothing too exciting happens, but we keep the wheels turning day after day.
