Jindalsteel& Power Ltd.

We are tucked away in Flat No. 6 at Vidyut Nikunj Aptts over in I P Extension. Most people don't expect a big name like Jindalsteel& Power Ltd. to be running out of a residential apartment complex in Delhi - 92, but that is exactly where you will find us every day. The office isn't anything fancy or like those glass towers you see in the movies. It is just a regular place where we get the work done. You can hear the neighbors occasionally and the sounds of the street outside are always there. We spend a lot of time on the phone and looking at papers related to steel and the power projects we are involved in. It gets pretty busy, especially when there are big deadlines. We have our desks set up in the rooms and it feels more like a home office than a corporate headquarters. People come by sometimes for meetings, and we just make room around the table. It is practical and it works for us. Living and working in this part of Delhi has its own rhythm. The traffic in I P Extension can be a bit of a headache in the mornings, but we are used to it by now. We just show up, drink our tea, and handle whatever the day throws at us regarding the steel business. It is a lot of logistics and talking to people on various sites across the country from this little spot every single day.
