Lifeline Tea

Lifeline Tea is at Plot No. 14 E in Pocket 2 of Mayur Vihar, Phase 3. We are right near the Bank Of Baroda. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. We have a small setup here. It’s mostly storage and a little space for us to sit. We focus on the tea. People from around the neighborhood stop in. They know we are here. We don't have a big neon sign. Just a small board. The Bank Of Baroda is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We get our shipments in the morning. The delivery truck parks in the alley. We have to be quick so we don't block the way. My son helps me move the crates. He’s stronger than he looks. We have different grades of tea. Some for milk tea, some for black tea. We keep them separate. The air in the room is always thick with the smell of tea leaves. It’s a good smell. We use a manual shutter for the shop. It makes a lot of noise when we open up. The neighbors are used to it by now. We close up early on Sundays. It’s the only day we get some rest. The Bank Of Baroda security guard comes over sometimes to say hello. We give him a little tea for his break. It's a nice community feel here in Phase 3.
