Choclate Fashions

If you want to find Choclate Fashions, you have to head to Kanti Nagar. We are on the 3rd floor of D-4. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we are carrying rolls of fabric or boxes of finished clothes. The space isn't huge, but we use every corner of it. There are sewing machines set up near the windows to get the best light. It gets pretty warm in the summer, even with the fans going full blast. We spend our days cutting fabric and checking the stitching on things. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. Sometimes the floor is a mess with thread and offcuts. We’ve been in Kanti Nagar for a bit now and we like the vibe of the market nearby. It’s a loud and busy neighborhood. We often have tea delivered from the stall downstairs while we work. My sister helps with the designs and I handle the rest of the business. We aren't a big factory, just a small team trying to make decent clothes that people will actually want to wear. It’s a lot of hours, but it feels good to see a finished piece of clothing. We just keep at it, one day at a time, up here on the third floor.
