Jyoti Portfolio Limited is where we handle the day-to-day paperwork and the stuff that comes with managing portfolios. It’s a small office, nothing like the big corporate towers in Gurgaon or Noida. We prefer it here in West Vinod Nagar because it feels more like a real neighborhood. The office is usually filled with files and the sound of someone typing away. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we get the work done. Street 8 is usually crowded with people going to the shops nearby, so there's always something going on outside the window. We don't have a receptionist or anything; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It’s a very straightforward operation. I usually spend my time looking at spreadsheets and talking to folks on the phone about their accounts. We’ve had the same furniture for years because it still works fine. It’s not about looking polished; it’s about making sure the numbers add up. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but the fan keeps things moving. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It is simple enough.
