Juneja Flour Mills

Juneja Flour Mills is just a small local mill located at 9/1744, Gali No 8, in the Kailash Nagar area. We have been working out of this same spot for quite a long time now. It is a dusty kind of job, as you can probably imagine, but someone has to grind the grain for the neighborhood. Most people around here come to us when they need fresh flour for their daily rotis. Throughout the day, our machines are usually running from early morning until it gets dark outside. You can usually find us near the corner of the lane if you look for the white flour dust on the front steps. It is not a fancy or polished place at all. We just focus on the bags of grain coming in and the finished flour going out to the customers. My father used to tell me that people will always need bread to eat, so we just keep the grinding stones turning day after day. It gets very loud inside when the machines are at full speed. Sometimes we can't even hear the phone ringing. The local people know exactly where we are. We try to keep the work moving along so that nobody has to wait too long out in the street. Kailash Nagar has changed quite a bit over the years, but our little mill stays pretty much the same. We don’t do much else besides the milling work.
