Laxmi Nagar is a crowded place, and that’s where you’ll find me most days. I’m Javed Islam, and this is where I’ve set up my workspace. It’s not always quiet here, with the noise from the street and the metro nearby, but it feels like home. I’ve been running things under the name Javedislam for a while now. Most people around here are just trying to get through their day, and I’m no different. I opened this spot because I knew the area well and saw that people needed someone reliable they could just talk to. It’s a small room, honestly, packed with files and a few chairs that have seen better days. I don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what my work is about. I just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes I'm here late into the evening when the rest of the market is shutting down. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, and the stairs are steep, but it works for what I need. People stop by to ask for advice or just to see if I’m available for a quick job. I don’t have a big team or anything, just a few local guys who help out when it’s busy. We just take it one day at a time, making sure things get done properly without making a big fuss about it. It’s just how we operate in this part of Delhi and I wouldn't have it any other way.
