Jaiveer Dresses

You can find us at No. 9/6653 on Nehru Street, right by Jaiveer Chowk in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a really hectic area with rickshaws and carts everywhere you look. Our shop is usually packed with boxes because there is never enough shelf space for all the dresses we have. We spend a lot of time just shifting things around to find the right size or color that someone is asking for. The walls are lined with racks, and sometimes they get so full that it’s hard to pull anything out. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone, but it’s usually buried under some samples. The lighting is a bit yellow and one of the bulbs has a habit of flickering when the weather gets humid. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us who handle everything from opening the shutters to sweeping the floor at night. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the seams and making sure the buttons are on tight. Gandhi Nagar is a tough place to work because it’s so crowded, but we’ve been here at this chowk for a long time. We usually grab some snacks from the vendor across the street when we get a quiet moment. It’s just a basic shop where we work hard and try to keep things organized despite the constant rush and noise of the neighborhood.
