Our office is at Scf No 131 in Arya Nagar, which is quite close to Vijay Chowk. It’s a familiar spot for anyone living around here. J K Properties isn't some big fancy agency with a fleet of cars. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, answering the phone and looking through property listings. We know these streets pretty well because we’ve been walking them for years. People stop by to ask about rentals or if any shops are opening up nearby. The walls are covered with maps of the local sectors. Sometimes it gets quiet, and other times three people walk in at once wanting to talk about land. We usually have the fan going and a stack of files that needs sorting. It’s a simple setup. We don't use any high-tech gadgets to show houses; we just take people over and show them the place in person. It’s more honest that way. Vijay Chowk is always buzzing with activity, so there’s always something to see out the window. We’ve seen the prices go up and down and new buildings replace the old ones. It’s just how the neighborhood grows. We try to keep track of who is selling and who is looking to move in. It's a lot of chatting and drinking tea with the locals. That's how most of our business gets done anyway. We are just here from morning until evening, trying to help people find a decent place to stay.
