Shaheer Associates

We’ve been here at 76D in Pocket-4 for a while now. Mayur Vihar Phase 1 is a busy spot, especially around the market area, but our little corner is usually alright. It’s a typical Delhi setup. We spend most of our mornings sorting through files and taking calls. Shaheer Associates isn't a huge operation, just a few of us working together. The traffic on the way in can be a headache sometimes, but that is just part of living in the city. Our office has some old chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. We handle various tasks throughout the day as they come. It gets quite hot in the summer months, so the fan is always running in the background. People drop by from the neighborhood occasionally to ask questions or just say hello. We don’t have fancy lobby decor or anything like that. It's just a functional space where we get things done. Most of the guys here have lived in Haryana or nearby for years. We know the local shops and where to get the best tea in the afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and talk. It’s a quiet life mostly, just keeping the business moving along. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. It’s more about the actual work on the desk. Every day is pretty much the same routine.
