Our spot is at 34-D in Pocket-D of the SFS Flats in Mayur Vihar Phase-III. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit different from being in a big glass office building downtown. We are surrounded by families and people going about their daily lives. Hcl Infosystems has this space here where we handle a lot of the technical side of things. It’s pretty packed with computers, spare monitors, and boxes of cables. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to walk, but we make it work. The neighbors are mostly used to us by now, though we try to keep the noise down. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens and typing away. We don't have a fancy canteen or anything, just a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits. The walk from the main gate to our flat is nice when the weather is good. It’s a bit of a climb up to the office, but it’s fine. We don't really do the corporate thing here; we just focus on fixing problems and getting the systems running. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is a plus in Delhi. We spend our days mostly untangling wires and checking code or hardware. It’s not flashy, but it’s what we do.
