Ss Garments

Ss Garments is located over in Janta Gali, which is right in the heart of the Gandhi Nagar area. If you’ve ever walked through these lanes, you know it’s mostly just rows and rows of shops and people carrying bundles of cloth. Our place is at Ix/6682. It’s a busy spot, especially during the festive seasons when everyone is looking for new clothes. We don’t have any big windows or fancy displays. It’s mostly just stacks of garments piled up. Sometimes it’s hard to see the back wall. We spend the whole day sorting through sizes and making sure the piles don’t fall over. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone around to help out. We don’t really use a lot of technology, just some ledgers and a lot of memory. The lighting is okay, but it gets hot in the summer when the fans are going full blast. People come here because they know we have a lot of variety tucked away in these stacks. We aren't trying to be a big mall. We’re just a local garment shop trying to keep up with the orders coming in. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually tired by the end of the day, but that’s how it goes here in Gandhi Nagar. We just keep stacking and selling.
