5Th Generation Computers

If you walk down Street No. 7 in Rajgarh Colony, you'll find us at B-37. This is 5Th Generation Computers. Our shop is pretty small and there are usually old monitors and tangled wires everywhere you look. It's not the neatest place in Gandhi Nagar, but we know where everything is. Most of our morning is spent opening up laptop casings and blowing out dust that’s been there for years. We handle a lot of broken screens and keyboards that had tea spilled on them. It’s a bit of a cramped space with the workbench taking up most of the room. Sometimes the soldering iron stays on all day because there's always one more motherboard to look at. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle these machines. People from the neighborhood drop by with their PCs and we just give them a look and see what can be done. It’s noisy because of the street traffic and the constant hum of cooling fans we have running. We aren't trying to be some big showroom. We just like fixing things and selling parts that people actually need. It’s simple work, really. We stay open late most nights because that's when people usually realize their computer died. You get used to the smell of hot plastic and solder after a while here.
