Drinks Point

You can find us in Vinod Nagar, right near Acharya Niketan. We are in Mayur Vihar Phase-1, which is a pretty crowded part of the city. Drinks Point is exactly what it sounds like. We have all kinds of beverages lined up in the coolers. It’s a small shop, almost like a hole in the wall, but we manage to fit a lot in there. The street outside is usually full of people walking to the market or the nearby school. In the summer, this place gets really hectic because everyone is looking for something cold to drink. We spend half the day just restocking the fridges and moving crates around. The floor is always a bit wet from the ice or the condensation. We don't have chairs or anything, people just grab what they want and pay at the counter. Sometimes the electricity acts up and we have to worry about the drinks getting warm, but usually, it is fine. It’s a loud area with cars honking and people shouting, but you get used to it after a while. We know most of the regulars who stop by on their way home from work. It is a simple job, keeping people hydrated and making sure we don't run out of the popular sodas. It’s not a glamorous life but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
