We’ve been here for quite a while now, working as management consultants. It sounds like a big title, but really we just help other small businesses and offices figure out how to run better. Our office isn't very large, and it’s usually filled with stacks of papers and old folders. We don't have a fancy glass boardroom or expensive art on the walls. It’s a lived-in space where we actually do the work. The street outside is full of shops and people going about their day, so there is always some noise coming from the rickshaws and vendors. We like being in Krishna Nagar because it feels like a real community. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to impress people. We just talk to our clients like regular people and try to give them advice that they can actually use. Most of our days are spent on the phone or sitting around a table trying to solve some problem or another. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it anything more than that. We just show up, do our best, and go home when the day is done. It is a good way to work.
